COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Waterloo G+G 2024 would not have be possible without the support of these community partners.

ABOUT WATERLOO G+G

Ride through the wilds of Lower Michigan’s largest park, where pristine forests, rolling glacial terrain, and sparkling lakes provide a breathtaking backdrop for the gravel cycling experience of a lifetime.

Given Waterloo Recreational Area’s glacial history, the bike courses will vary from rolling hill climbs and swift descents to winding curves and rare straightaways. Some roads will be paved. Others may be patched. Most will be dirt and rock. Expect to get dusty. Expect to get grimy. Expect to have the time of your life!

100K: 2 loops that wind through Waterloo’s more than 20,000 acres.

50K: Condenses the best that the 100K offers into half the distance (one loop)

10-mile: a little bit of everything!

COURSES + MAPS

Waterloo G+G courses are very similar to 2023 race, with the same start/finish at Portage Lake Park in Grass Lake.

Posted below are STRAVA and RIDE WITH GPS links for all 3 distances.

Cutoff times
100K: All participants in the 100K must begin their second loop 3 hours from their start time.  At this time, the sag vehicle will begin cleaning the course and anybody behind the sag vehicle is advised to head to the finish line and call it a 50K!

50K: We will begin clearing the course at the first mile marker, 2 hours after the last participant has started. All participants are expected to finish the course within 3.5 hours. If you don’t think you can finish in this time, we would love to have you in the 10-mile ride!
